News from the Principal

Cub Families,

I want to say thank you for another great week with your children! We had a wonderful week of learning across all grade levels. Be sure to ask your child about what they have been doing in science. We have seen so many neat, hands-on activities happening throughout the campus!

Today was our first enrichment day, and it was so much fun to see our students highly engaged in their learning! We saw staff and volunteers using fun, hands-on activities to help students make meaningful learning connections. Every student was using problem-solving skills, exploring new ideas, and discovering new interests. A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered and helped make this day possible!

Just a reminder that students will be off October 19th–13th. We will be here to welcome our Cubs back on Wednesday, October 14th.

We are also looking forward to our Cub Crawl on Friday, October 16th! It is always a fun-filled event and a wonderful way for us to come together as a school community.

Enjoy the fall break with your families! We hope you have a relaxing and fun-filled break. We look forward to seeing our Cubs back on October 14th!

Have a wonderful weekend! 💙💛

Warmly,

Sami Gillette

Visitor and Parent Pick-Up Procedures

All visitors and volunteers must check in at the front office and are required to show their driver's license or other form of picture ID when arriving on campus for a meeting, to volunteer, or to pick up a student early from school. In addition, the front office will not release a student unless the parent or guardian shows their ID, and they are listed as an authorized pick-up person in Skyward.

All Transportation changes must me made prior to 2:00.
If you need to pick your child up early, we ask that it is done before 2:30. This will help make sure we can get the students with minimal disruptions to our end of the day procedures.

Cub Crawl Needs YOU! Just 30 Minutes Makes a Difference!

Cub Crawl is almost here, and we currently have ZERO volunteers signed up to help! We need our CCES families to step up to make this event a success.

We're looking for at least 4 volunteers for each of two shifts:
  • Set-Up: Help get everything ready before the event.
  • Clean-Up: Help us wrap up after the fun.
We only need 30 minutes of your time! You don't have to volunteer for the entire event, and you'll still have plenty of time to enjoy Cub Crawl with your family.

Cub Crawl is a community event, and it takes our community to make it happen. These volunteers aren't just helpful; they're essential to making the event possible.
If everyone does a little, no one has to do a lot, and we can ALL enjoy the fun!

Please sign up today using the QR code on the flyer or click the link here to sign up!
